Connor Stallmer: A Legacy of Dedication and Purpose in Jiu Jitsu

Connor Stallmer’s Jiu Jitsu journey began at the young age of 5, shortly after his family settled in Texas. His parents saw the sport as a way to build his confidence and instill values of respect and kindness. Around the same time, his younger sister was born with a rare form of Down syndrome, which deepened Connor’s sense of responsibility and compassion. From an early age, he stepped into the role of protector and role model, traits that continue to shape his character both on and off the mats.

Over the past 9.5 years, Connor has evolved into one of the sport’s brightest young talents. But his journey goes beyond chasing victories—his dream is to leave a lasting legacy in the world of Jiu Jitsu. He envisions becoming a household name, building a brand that reflects his values, and creating a life where he can provide for his sister and family. This profound sense of purpose fuels his relentless drive.

The Relentless Pursuit of Greatness

Connor’s dedication is unmatched. He trains 4 to 6 hours daily, 6 to 7 days a week, balancing intense Jiu Jitsu sessions with strength and conditioning, recovery techniques like cold plunges and cryotherapy, and meticulous video analysis. This holistic approach to improvement underscores his commitment to mastering every aspect of the sport.

Recently, Connor began training with the Pro athletes at B-Team—a testament to his rapidly growing potential. He is preparing to relocate to Austin, Texas, where he will immerse himself in a full-time training environment. His ultimate goal? To perform on the world’s biggest stages, such as UFC Fight Pass and Who’s Number One, and cement his place as not only a professional Jiu Jitsu athlete, but one of the greatest.

Champion in Competition, Leader in Life

Connor’s accomplishments are already impressive:

  • 2021 IBJJF American National Kids Champion

  • 2021 IBJJF Pan Kids Champion

  • F2Win No Gi Teen Champion

  • 10x ADCC Advanced Champion

  • 2024 ADCC Youth World Championship (Bronze)

However, his impact extends far beyond the accolades. Connor is deeply committed to fostering growth within the Jiu Jitsu community. He dedicates time to mentoring younger athletes, sharing techniques, and encouraging their development. Whether it’s drilling alongside them or offering words of encouragement, he leads by example, embodying the humility and respect that Jiu Jitsu teaches.

Legacy in the Making

Connor’s journey is deeply intertwined with his family’s legacy. His father, who grew up wrestling and boxing, recognized the transformative power of Jiu Jitsu and instilled its values in Connor. Today, those lessons resonate in every decision Connor makes, from his tireless work ethic to his unwavering dedication to family.

Connor’s vision is clear: to redefine what it means to be a professional Jiu Jitsu athlete by combining world-class performance with a commitment to uplifting others. His story is one of grit, grace, and purpose—a shining example of how Jiu Jitsu can shape not just champions, but exceptional human beings.
